About us

OFFSHORESERVICE
KLEMENT

Offshoreservice Klement is an experienced tugboat company based in Rendsburg - Kanalufer am Nord-Ostseekanal.

We are an experienced tugboat company based in Rendsburg on the Kiel Canal. We offer a wide range of towing and towage services along the canal from Kiel to Brunsbüttel as well as the Baltic and North Sea coasts. Our aim is to offer our customers a professional and reliable service at the highest level.

The company Offshoreservice Klement GMBH &CO.KG was originally founded in 2010 as GBR and has experienced steady growth since then. We began with the acquisition of our first tugboat, the ‘Flemhude’ from Denmark, which we have gradually modernised and adapted to our technical standards. We are primarily active as a service provider for hydraulic engineering companies and are often contracted to tow their equipment and provide support on construction sites.

We are also booked by shipyards, authorities and other service providers for towing and bowsing work. We carry out sea towing, transport operations and assistance along the Kiel Canal.

In 2013, we acquired our second tugboat, the “VS NOK 1”, which we also converted and modernised. In 2014, we added the “Schwartenbek” and rented parts of the port area in Rendsburg-Büdelsdorf that was no longer in use. We converted it into a tugboat harbour and made it into a base in the middle of the NOK. Our customers can handle goods and equipment here.

Our commitment and expertise in towing and bowsing have made us well-known in the region. The traffic control for the NOK has become aware of us and asks us for support in case of accidents or special events along the canal.

In 2017, we transformed into a GmbH & Co.KG and Jurek Klement joined the management. We are proud of our team of experienced captains and crew members who excel in their work and provide a first-class service to our customers.
